It's been a while since I got a chance to escape the hustling city life. Even though I have a bad case of wanderlust, I can't afford to take off from all the work I'm glued to. How wonderful would it be to replace the disturbing traffic noise with the soothing sound of the waves or the sight of a zillion buildings with peaks of snow? Ugh. With the summer approaching, a variety of holiday ideas have kept me distracted. So much that I've even started shopping for my unplanned holiday. With all the sales going on, my carts have been filled with heaps of things from parkas to a whole lot of linens. Never know where you end up going, right?
With all clothes that have been coming, this beautiful skirt is what got me thrilled. It reminds me of the one place I've been dreaming of for so long. Evidently, the place I'm referring to is Santorini, Greece. The skirt has little blue and white structures similar to the ones you see in the actual town. Those subtle yellow lines add to the summer vibes. Wearing it makes me feel like I'm half-way there. No jokes. The look features a printed midi and a fun set of bracelets both from Chumbak. The Collection One was one of their best so far! To play around with similar shades, I wore this mint top and carried a tiny yellow satchel.
I wasn't patient enough to visit the actual town and feature this midi on the blog later on. Would be too much waiting I figured. This is the closest I could get to a perfect holiday in Santorini at the moment. Sigh. Could I just switch lives with someone on their way to a beautiful destination, right now?
