H&M x KENZO
Around this time every year, H&M campaigns are all over. Each time, with a new designer and a whole new collection. There's one thing that remains constant though. Thousands queuing up early in the morning outside stores or wait online for hours to get into their overcrowded site across the globe. And the stock vanishes in no time! Lucky you if you've managed to get all your favourite pieces you had your eyes on at least for one collaboration.
This year, H&M teamed up with KENZO. The collection wasvibrant and bursts of colour! The Paris-based label infused the collection with bold textures and patterns. The reversible clothing, kimonos, big neon jackets etc clearly reflect the "No-rules World" KENZO has aimed at. The two also teamed up with Jean-Claude Goude to capture the energetic and stylish campaign.
I was fortunate enough to get the pieces I wanted on the day it was launched. I loved the tiger print pieces from the kaleidoscopic jungle collection the most! I got a tee, a reversible skirt, a blouse and a pair of dope gloves. Unlike last year, this year's collection was better priced but the quality of some pieces disappointed me. I played around with the four pieces and created 3 looks for this post. As you can see, it's a bit off my usual style but I love it all! I'm totally obsessing over one look though; the one with the pink skirt and gloves. What would you pick from the collection to bring out your bold side? I'd love to know! <3
