Date with the Bestie!
The importance given to accessories varies from person to person. Some may obsess over shoes, some over bags or both. Knowing or unknowingly, you fall into one of the three categories and it adds more character to your style. Today's post is all about that. In association with Hydes Studio, this post takes you through a casual date with my bestie, our styles and the characters thatdefine them.
Here's an insight about Hydes Studio. This Chennai based brand belongs to Ramya Balachandran and Hari Madhavan, a designer from Istituto Marangoni Milan. They showcase a range of bags made with genuine leather and also customise bags according to your requirements just like the ones you see in this post.
Last Sunday, Samta and I headed out to Kitsch Mandi. With many artsy stalls, delicious food, wine and live music, it was the best place to be on a weekend.
Samta, being the fun-loving person she is, is a real sucker for bright colours. Her style is casual and fun, comfort always being her main priority. This particular piece from Hydes Studio was perfect for her. The colour made it exciting to style, and the size made it convenient to carry on a long day out with all her daily essentials. She picked a structured white shift dress to highlight the bag and make it look classy in the same way.
I, on the other hand, having several fashion personalities, went with boho-chic for that fun day. The idea was to reflect freedom and laidback-ness through the look. I was longing for a good bucket bag and it was such a task to find the right size. For the outing, this brown bag from Hydes Studio was definitely my best pick. I could fit in all my essentials and also some of the little things I picked up at the flea market. I teamed this bucket bag with this lace up top on a handkerchief skirt and stuck to the dark hues adding a nice contrast to Samta's look.
All in all, the day was well spent and the two of us loved carrying these pieces. It fit in our requirements aptly. The bags can make even a simple outfit stand out, be it just jeans or a classy dress. And so, these pieces will surely be accompanying us very often.
