Over the last few days, I've been drooling over all the pictures from Cannes 2016. With Sonam Kapoor's long embroidered trails, Blake Lively's Disney princess-like gowns and Araya Alberta Hargate's never seen before dresses nailing it on the red carpet and leaving us all awestruck. And, a bit jealous. I found myself having a tiny princess moment while shooting for this look. Putting up these pictures on the blog made me feel a little better after all the envying. Well, somewhat.

I've always been so into ruffles, pleats and lace. It adds a Romantic touch to my style personality which I love! The most eye-catching thing about this dress are the big beautiful ruffles at the shoulders and it's tapering lower half. It adds so much structure to the dress which fascinates me. The colour, according to me, is the real winner though. It made the dress look royal and graceful.

I fancy this colour so much that I swiped a bit of it on my eyes and chose these quirky earrings for the ears. This beautifully crafted green and gold cuff made a perfect match to the rest of the  look. A pair of embellished sandals was absolutely essential.

Who needs a man to make you feel like a princess when you can wear such beautiful things and make yourself feel like one!
