Everyone wants to escape sometimes. Through music, through a warm nap, through a drive out of the city or a flight to some foreign land. Just taking some time off to refresh or rejuvenate the body is more essential than you know.
Surprisingly, doing nothing and staying at home during this long, boring break got maddening. At least for a person like me, who likes to be occupied with something or the other. The only work I've been doing is for the blog and nothing else. While thinking of ways to kill time and escape this boredom, I thought why not make the blog work more fun.
For this post, I went on a long drive towards the outskirts, looking for some place new. The cool air through my hair, those favourite tracks playing on repeat, the sun gracefully rising up and zero thoughts on my mind. It was a nice escape to the overflowing thoughts and felt rather refreshing. During the shoot, the prankster in me reached out, pretending to be a hitchhiker. Call it lame but it was so hilarious to see people actually slow down; considering Wesley was standing right there with his camera pointed towards me. I live for little moments like these and it definitely made my morning!
Getting to what I wore, I chose something free, flowy and fun. Taking cues from this duffle bag, I made off-white the main element of the look accessorising with some hues of brown. Being a travel bag, it was so light to carry around during this little adventure even though I put most of my daily essentials in it. By that I mean my make up, snack, comb, notebook and a pair of flats just in case I got uncomfortable. It's so perfect to carry while travelling and the word ESCAPE would definitely add to the holiday excitement. Can't wait to go on more fun adventures with this favourite duffle. If you love fun travel bags as much as I do, take a look at the bags from 2AM by Anjali and Meha!
