Modern Muse feat. Aseo Style Coach
There are phases when we get carried away with the people around us. We tend to think that the way they dress or the place they come from is more superior than our own. The last few months that I've spent in London, I've been exposed to so many situations that encircle this issue. At times, you're made to feel like you need to be from a certain place or dress in luxury from head to toe; just to make your presence count. I can't believe that such things still happen even now. Due to this, many feel embarrassed to be themselves and I find that really disappointing. I have been through that phase too. At one point, I disliked ethnic clothing, only a handful knew I played the Veena and I was embarrassed of being a South Indian. Crazy? I know. People I hardly knew made me feel that way. Why? Cause I let them. But now, I'm so much more confidentand I absolutely love being the brown Indian girl. This post is for the ones, who, like me, are weighed down by these unimportant people in our lives. It's to remind ourselves that we should never allow anyone to make us feel unimportant for who or what we are.
To bring out my thoughts through pictures, I've chosen a floral co-ord from Aseo Style Coach by Depika Medappa. It's modern cuts and traditional Silk silhouette perfectly fits my personality. The brand helps you discover a new side of your style in an inspiring way. I give you my word on that.
