Altered Above Average
Do you remember the last time you felt unsure in a black or a white outfit? No? Didn't think so. We all know you can never get it wrong in them. I picked the classic monochromatic tones to create a modern chic look for this simple write up.
"Black and White always looks Modern, whatever the word means." - Karl Lagerfeld
If you had seen my previous post, you'll know that I stressed on altering a top or picking up an extra high cut crop top. I have a few that I wear often. Like this black sleeve top, for instance. Just about a week ago, I casually wore it on a day out. There were at least a dozen who asked me where I picked it up from, told me how cool it was and so on. It's definitely encouraging when such little things happen in a city like London, where majority of the crowd have a great fashion sense. That being so, I put together a simple look that could probably inspire you to give in to this mini trend. Another element of this outfit that I really love are the flared lounge trousers. I could easily switch from casual to dressy without having to change this dapper pair of pants. And for a bonus tip, sporty side stripes on anything is a definite hit!!!
P.S. I've just completed the Fashion course in London and I'm thrilled to be working on new posts. So stay tuned as I have so many looks to share with you. Also, if you'd like to see anything in particular, just let me know either by commenting below, emailing me or DMing me on Instagram. Lots of Love x
