The Pant Set.
Dear readers, I really, really hope that the sun's sparing some, if not the most of you, from it's scorching heat. I read your DMs & feel your pain most of the time. Luckily, Bangalore weather is absolutely bliss right now (mostly!). Pleasant, breezy and a pinch of rain in the evenings. But when it's not, the heat almost turns our dry clothes wet!
Tossing the weather-reporter-like small talk aside, let me get to the real point of discussion: CO-ORDS. Okay, I know, sounds a bit old-fash! I can't think of anything else to call it; sets? suit? pair? Uh, just scroll through, I guess?
Lately, I've been observing a whole lot of tunic/kurta-trouser/skirt sort of co-ords put out by a majority of labels. Just like any co-ord, it makes so much sense. Especially if you want to travel light, on a tight budget or just like to experiment! Most of the new arrivals seem light, comfortable and perfect for the spring/summer.
I'm totally crushing on these paired ensembles that are multifunctional, pocket-friendly & so fun to wear! But I'd say keep an eye out for the dress-trouser/skirt pairs and give the crop top-bottom ones a miss. Swing from minimal accessories to statement pieces with every style and notice how unique each one will look. For this post, I picked these nautical striped dress/trouser set (on sale, btw) from The Label Life and wore it differently each time. Apart from styling them differently, I also experiment with rare solids or prints. Big checks, polkas, stripes etc or ikkat, chanderi block prints on days that I'm drawn to the ethnic side.
I've put together some sets I really liked (see below) so just click and shop right away! Do let me know if you like any or have more suggestions for this list.
